Less to Carry

A small practice kit can make moving between rooms easier. Build it around familiar items you use, rather than equipment you might need someday.

Start from actual use

Think about what you reached for during your last few sessions. A notebook and folded towel may cover most of the arrangement. Leave larger objects in the room where they belong unless moving them has a clear purpose.

Choose a bag or container that you already own and can carry comfortably. Keep its contents visible enough that finding the first item does not require unpacking everything.

Give the kit a home

Store the kit in a place that is convenient to reach and does not block the room. After using it elsewhere, return the container to that location. A known home keeps the next move simple.

Review the contents occasionally. Remove items that travel with you but never get used, and replace what you actually need. A useful kit can get smaller as you learn which objects support your ordinary practice.

A few common questions

Do I need to follow every suggestion?

No. These are general editorial ideas. Choose one useful detail, adapt it, or leave it aside.
